The Adventures of Lumi: He’ll be coming down the mountain.
Sitting on the pelts that Lumi provided for me. My hands covered my eyes while I waited.
“Eh… Eh… There it’s complete! Look… Look you see!”
I uncovered my eyes looking at what he had done. He built towers out of his blocks. Higher than him but just below my hip.
“Lumi? Where are you?”
He charged down the center with flames shooting from his mouth.
“I am your king! Ruler of this city… Give me the precious potatoes you hold hostage!”
He continued to kick the blocks and send them scattering along the cave floor. Watching the scene I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Lumi, If you want potatoes I can take you down to the town. Only you can’t go down looking like that.” I motion to his body, “You will need to blend in. You know you are naked…”
He let out a gasp that echoed through the cave. In one swift motion, he turned around in hopes to cover himself.
“How could you say that?!” He looked back over his shoulder with a quizzical look. “What is naked?”
I laughed even harder whipping tears from my eyes, I took off my red scarf.
“Oh… Come here.”

The red scarf on me looked small but, wrapping it around Lumi made it seem like a blanket. He had enough for it to make a cape and hood to cover his tail and ears.
“There you go.”
His eyes grew wide in amazement and he lifted the scarf by the ends. It had flapped back down.
“I have a cape!” He began running around the cavern with the red scarf flying behind him.
“Are you ready to go on an adventure?”
He stopped so suddenly and turned to face me slowly.
“Yes…Wait!” He dashed behind his throne. Tossing odd objects out from behind it. Many things came sticks, rocks, and a boot. He came out holding a sack attached to a rope.
“What’s in there?”
“I can’t leave Jeffery..”
“Jeffery?”
He opened the sack and I peeked in.
“You named the potato!?!”
He closed it up and patted it on his hip.
“He is my treasure, He has to come with. What if he hatched and he was all alone? He would be sad.”
“Okay…Okay. Let us get going, we want to make it down before sunset.”
